Making Vision a Reality.

Discussing how James and James Fulfilment came about, the concept and technology behind it, and how it was scaled without capital.

"James Hyde and James StrachanFounders of James and James Fulfilment, are revolutionising the fulfilment industry by leveraging technology to provide greater service. Spotting failings in the market generated ideas for greater automation and visibility which in turn created cost and risk reduction. Changes in the perception of value have highlighted service above software and, at the same time, revealed opportunities for scalability and an international outlook. Funded by the success of their own ideas and with no loans or debts, this successful company has broken boundaries in competitive advantage without reinventing the wheel and whilst maintaining a commitment to environmental responsibility. Both studied at the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge.

Enterprise Tuesday is a series of free evening lectures and networking sessions managed and delivered by the Entrepreneurship Centre. The programme aims to introduce participants to the world of business, as well as to encourage and inspire individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial ambition. It is the most popular non-assessed programme within the University and the model has been adopted by numerous other academic institutions.

Previous speakers include Peter Harris, Founder of Hotel Chocolat; Sir Tim Smit KBE, founder of the Eden Project; and Lord Bilimoria CBE DL, Founder of Cobra Beer.
